Forklift & MEWP Certification Reimbursement Now Available

The IATSE TTF is happy to announce IATSE workers can now apply for up to $150 reimbursement for Forklift Operator and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) Operator certifications through the Certification Reimbursement program.

MEWP and Forklift operation training and certification may be required for tradeshow, stage, film, and television workers in many departments including construction, set dressing, art, special effects, rigging grips, rigging electric, greens, and set lighting. We have provided funding assistance to local unions who offered group Forklift and MEWP Operator training through the Course Reimbursement program since 2013, and now individuals can also obtain these certifications on their own.

The expansion of this program will increase safety training opportunities for IATSE workers who are unable to attend their local union’s group classes or who's local doesn’t currently offer operator training. Find more information about Certification Reimbursement here →
