This course is intended to train workers in the fundamentals of arena-style rigging. All workers will receive ground rigging training, and those who have elected for high rigger training will also receive practical training in walking the beam and pulling points.
Understanding safety factor, minimum breaking strength, and safe working load
Understanding safety fundamentals
Tie an inside bowline and tie a clove hitch
Read a ground marking and interpret the symbols
Build a bridle according to the marking
Prepare the motor and point for lifting
Tie in HR line to the point with correct size bowline
Properly play out the bridle/point so no snagging
Run up motor and free from box
Land motor and run out chain, make point ready to drop
