This course will give direct skills straining on the covered craft of Assistant Locations Management. Through lecture and practical applications and locations management software, participants will learn and practice many of an ALM’s tasks.

• Scouting locations

• Contracts and deals

• Permitting

• Acting as community liaison for production

• Working with other departments re: scheduling, alterations, safety, people moving logistics, parking, portable potties/honey wagons, basecamp logistics

• Mapmaking

• Creature comforts: AC, heat, M/U stations, chairs, tables, tents, catering locations

• Budgeting

• Cleanup and wrap
