In this class we will go over the essential skills or “basics” that nearly all crafts need to know. This class is designed to apply to a wide variety of crafts and be useful for both the novice and experienced crewmember. This course is meant to introduce or improve capabilities and safety in the more fundamental skillsets across most crafts.
The beginning portion of the day will be a brief classroom section discussing good set etiquette, radio protocol, time sheet pointers, and handy tricks of the trade. Then we’ll move on to various hands-on sections including knot-tying, ratchet straps, truck loading and weight distribution, and basic power tool handling and implementation.
