This class is designed to provide technical knowledge for participants new to the entertainment industry and a review and update for new equipment and methods for those who wish to become proficient in the safe operation of generators and portable power distribution systems used in the motion picture and television industry.
This class shall be given in lecture form and hands on operation of a generator, portable power distribution centers. At the conclusion of this class, the participants will be able to use a power meter and identify various voltages and calculate loads, operate and balance a generator, and identify and operate the latest lighting systems and control devices.
