Three hours of classroom instruction on aerial platform safety to include PowerPoint slide presentations, lecture, and test at the end of class. Class instruction is followed by a minimum of one hour of hands-on instruction with the instructor and equipment on site. Students completing the course will be issued wallet cards and certificates. This class will students with proper usage, storage, and safety concerning aerial work platforms.

• Workplace inspection

• Equipment inspection

• Proper operation

• Proper shutdown

• Recognition of hazards such as electrocution, fall, and being caught in between

• Recognizing both ANSI AEM and OSHA regulations
