The aerial lift training certification is needed to safely and correctly operate aerial lifts and scissor lifts. The training makes lift operators aware of the latest job site safety practices, OSHA regulations, and related important information. The operator training provides the fundamentals for practicing and promoting workplace safety. Certificates and operator cards will be issued after completion of the training and a hands-on operator evaluation.

• Review of the OSHA aerial lift standard 1926.453 and ANSI 92.2-2001

• Hazards associated in the operation of aerial lifts

• Inspection of aerial lifts

• Use and limitations of aerial lifts

• Fall protection for scissor and boom lifts
