This class covers the foundations of using Vectorworks to make a light plot including LW/VW data exchange, creating a symbols library, creating custom symbols, creating custom records, creating a template file, basic spotlight tools, layer and class structure, using viewports and sheet layers, and what to do when you receive the set designer’s drawing. Ideal students are those who are interested in transitioning from hand drafting to computer drafting or need a refresher on Vectorworks to start making it a regular part of their workflow.
