This course examines basic hardware setups, communication protocols, and programming techniques common to a diversity of lighting control consoles used throughout the industry. This training will focus on in depth explanations and demonstrations of stage lighting consoles, offline editors, and auxiliary equipment.
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the basic concepts of memory lighting consoles and communication protocols without regard to manufacturer. At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to identify hardware, communication protocols, and understand core functionality common to most memory lighting consoles.
