At the end of this class, participants should be able to identify connectors used in AV, learn the basic operation of commonly used video gear, and know some common issues in video and how to resolve them.

Unpack all video and audio equipment
Build screens
Run all cables
Setup projectors, switchers, recorders, computers
Interface with clients and employers about AV needs for the show
Operation of all gear in the room, or assisting other technicians to do so (computers, audio, recording, webcast)
Safe removal and packing of all gear
