Safe + Sound Week
From August 12-18, Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event that recognizes the successes of workplace safety and health programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. Successful safety and health programs can help workers identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness. The TTF Safety First! and OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety programs do just that.
Through the Borrow Our OSHA Trainer program, we can send our OSHA Outreach Trainer to your local to teach an OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety © class and help you determine what other programs you can take advantage of and connect you to safety resources.
The TTF Safety First! Online Courses provide an introduction into the world of workplace health and safety and promote safe working conditions by providing information, tools, and resources to recognize potential hazards and minimize risks. The Safety First! courses are available in two formats:
Workers: Individual workers can take the online courses in whichever order they'd like and start or stop at any point and pick up where they left off on any computer or mobile device.
Locals: Local trainers approved to use the Safety First! © Curriculum can access the Instructor Led Training (ILT) website to teach in a group setting using audio narration. Trainers can facilitate the interactive group course by muting the narration if they wish or pausing to discuss their own subject matter experiences.
