Stan Fyfe Saves Life with CPR Training

Local 479 member, Stan Fyfe, saved friend and co-worker Roger Sherer's life this week at a television commercial shoot. Stan came to Roger's aid when he saw him lying on the floor unconscious. Thanks to the Heartsaver® CPR AED training that Stan took through Local 479 only a couple of months ago, he knew exactly what to do. He took over CPR for someone who was not certified and performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Stan's quick response provided enough time for paramedics to arrive on scene and transfer Roger to the ER. Roger is expected to recover. Read the full story here.
