Training Spotlight: IATSE Local 477
Since early 2015, William F. (Fred) Moyse has taught over 23 OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety © classes to his local and other locals in the South. And that's just the beginning. As Business Manager and Director of Safety and Training at IATSE Local 477, he regularly returns to the University of South Florida OSHA Training Institute in pursuit of their OSHA Certification program by completing classes in Construction Noise, Fall Hazard Awareness for the Construction Industry, Managing Excavation Hazards, Evacuation and Emergency Planning, Machinery and Machine Guarding Standards, Lockout/Tagout, and more!
Fred is a Caterpillar certified forklift and AWP instructor, a Florida certified paramedic, a PADI diver, has USCG 100-ton Master certification, and is authorized as an OSHA Outreach Trainer to teach the OSHA 10/GES for his local and other locals.
Fred's also taken advantage of the TTF's Supported Course program to offer trainings in Aerial Work Platform Operator, Forklift Operator, Gun Safety, ProTools, Basic Electrics, Lightboard Operation, Scenic 101, Faux Paint, Graffiti, Grip 101, and ETCP Refresher to a total of more than 826 IATSE workers in 63 classes!
