Monona Rossol Receives USITT Distinguished Achievement Award in Education

The Training Trust Fund extends congratulations to Monona Rossol, who just received the USITT Distinguished Award in Education. Monona Rossol is a chemist, artist, and industrial hygienist. She is President/Founder of Arts, Crafts and Theater Safety, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing health and safety services to the arts. Monona is also the Safety Officer and Business Representative for Local 829 of the United Scenic Artists, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). She has lectured and consulted in the US, Canada, Australia, England, Mexico, Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates. Monona consulted extensively with UCLA LOSH on the development and customization of several modules of the IATSE Training Trust Fund's Safety First! Curriculum.
