Congrats to Local 635's Paul Valoris for Becoming an OSHA Outreach Trainer!

We are happy to announce that Paul Valoris from IATSE Local 635 in Winston-Salem, NC has recently completed the OSHA Outreach Training program! Trainers are required to have five years of general industry safety experience and complete courses in occupational safety and health standards for general industry, which include knowledge and performance based tests. Paul told us he was very excited about taking these courses at Southeastern OTI Education Center at North Carolina State University.

Paul’s participation in the TTF’s Train the Trainer program reinforced his teaching skills in connecting with IA workers and engaging them in conversation and class participation. We strongly encourage this type of active learning and are delighted to add Paul to our growing list of TTF Recognized Instructors!
