Entertainment Lighting in Austin, TX | Local 205


The course will teach the basics of prepping and hanging a show from a lighting and electrics perspective. Types of lights, cable, dimmers, and LEDs moving lights will all be demonstrated and hands-on used in a Day One shop environment followed by a theatrical environment to explain the gear, the paperwork, and the best and safest practices. The course serves as a quick and thorough immersion in the electrical department and how to apply the skills learned in the shop, the local theatres, and in the ballroom or on the convention center or arena floor.
