Set dressing is a key component of making the scene, as well as the process of making your set or your scene seem real and lived in. It functions as a critical component of any high-quality production. A set designer and a set dresser focus on the details of a scene. If you are doing your own set dressing, knowing the foundations of set design and set dressing will set you up for success. This course is designed to teach five skill sets to advance within set dressing.
Basic tools (Kit) needed for set dressing
Basic wiring needed for set dressing (not electrical work)
Boxing and labeling of set dressing for efficient loading and storage
Basic hanging and different materials for hanging
Basic truck loading and use of straps and or ropes to secure loads
