Participants will learn how forklifts function, how to operate the equipment responsibly and safely, and how to properly inspect the equipment on set according to the most current ANSI and OSHA standards.

• Pre-start inspection of equipment with proper documentation

• Work-site hazard assessment with methods to eliminate hazard or protect other workers from hazards

• Safe operation of forklifts

• Proper parking and shut down of forklift
