This three-day course offers an overview and analysis of fundamental rigging topics for entertainment rigging with a focus on arena practices. Participants will review risk management, formulas and forces, general principles of rigging, layout and electrical, rigging attachments, operations, personal access equipment, rigging materials, and OSHA mandated safety requirements.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will have the knowledge foundation to safely employ industry standard practices in the pre-rig, rigging, operation, and de-rigging of common entertainment rigging systems. This course is an excellent review for participants looking to the ETCP Arena Rigger exam. Current ETCP certified technicians are eligible for 24 renewal credits for participation in this course.
