Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator in San Diego, CA | Local 122

MEWPs 3b Operator class provides the required training and gives the referent a clear foundation to start their lift experience in the local. This class will be split into two parts, 2-hour ground instruction in which the students will be guided through procedures, inspection, and fall arrest and the 2-hour lift driving instruction which guides students through an obstacle course to get hands-on experience using the lifts.

  • Hands-on interaction with a scissor lift, a genie man lift, and a 60AJ Articulating boom lift

  • Proper fueling and electric lift charging procedures, rules for fuel storage and duel fuel restrictions

  • Ground controls, basket controls, Local 122 inspection forms and procedures (and their importance for us on the job site)

  • Donning and doffing your harness, proper fall arrest attachment
