Mobile Elevating Work Platforms are in constant use on our stages, in hotel ballrooms, and various outdoor venues allowing us to hang lights, sound gear, decorations ,and perform many other tasks at heights. The aerial lift training makes lift operators aware of the latest job site safety practices, OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and related important information. The aerial lift operator training provides the fundamentals for practicing and promoting workplace safety. Training includes a hands-on operator evaluation. Along with an introduction to and experiential MEWP training, the participants will learn how the OSHA and ANSI standards relate to MEWP operation and workplace safety. They will also learn the entertainment industry specific hazards related to MEWP operation. There is a strong emphasis on workplace safety and the daily inspections an operator needs to perform.
