This is a workshop of cameras, equipment, procedures and protocols for new technicians wishing to operate in a Corporate environment. Some entertainment terminology will also be covered, but this class is intended to introduce the process and practice of building and operating cameras and related equipment as part of the IA Video Team. The workshop will concentrate on physically interacting with gear, protocols and personnel in typical situations in corporate environments and entertainment usages.
Quick Survey of Optics, Cameras, and Motion Cameras
Description of components which technicians will interact with
Typical workflow for entry level positions within the Video department
Practical Demonstration of selecting components, erecting and handling the camera and associated equipment
Demonstration of proper procedures for setting back focus, white and black balance, filters, assignment of dates and times and focus assist features.
Stress familiarization with the equipment, researching manuals and menus. Give yourself a set of features which you are comfortable with.
