This course covers electrical theory and application of electrical power distribution and electrical safety for live event production. Participants will learn the basics of electricity including DC and AC circuit theory, three-phase power, power factor, harmonics, best practices for the safe distribution of electrical power, how to mitigate hazards by using the proper PPE, how to properly select the component of a power distribution system, and how to monitor the system during operation.
