Set Dressing Basics in Albuquerque, NM | Local 480


Set dressing is a key component of making the scene, as well as the process of making your set or your scene seem real and lived in. It functions as a critical component of any high-quality production. A set designer and a set dresser focuses on the details of a scene. If you are doing your own set dressing, knowing the foundations of set design and set dressing will set you up for success. This course is designed to teach five basic skills or skill sets to advance within set dressing.

  • Packing and labeling

  • Securing of loads in the truck

  • Basic tools

  • Basic wiring

  • Basic hanging (pictures)
