The Industrial Forklift certification course is designed to teach operators the safe operating techniques in the entertainment environment. The student, at the end of the course will be able to demonstrate the safe use of the material lifting technology including the limitations involved with size, capacity, and environment.

• Regulations and Responsibilities: Cal OSHA, employer, employee

• Engineering/Stability: Stability triangle, turns, blind spots/visibility, tip over

• PPE: Seat belts, ROPS, gloves/safety glasses, back up alarm/horn

• Pre-use inspection

• Worksite evaluation

• Operation: Controls, capacity, load center, turning, throttle, brakes
