This five-hour course reviews basic fall protection requirements including the do’s and don’ts of fall protection, OSHA requirements, safety protocols and procedures, equipment expiration dates, donning a harness correctly, suspended while wearing the harness, explain different harness designs for job applications, how to snap-in to prevent falling.
All students will be expected to wear and use a full body harness and discuss fall protection regulations, equipment limitations and anchor point requirements. Rescue and suspension trauma will be discussed to insure understanding.
