The Construction Forklift certification course is designed to teach operators the safe operating techniques in the entertainment environment. The student, at the end of the course, will be able to demonstrate the safe use of the material lifting technology including the limitations involved with size, capacity, and environment. Along with safe use, the student is taught the differences between an industrial forklift and that of the construction reach forklift (Gradall,Lull,Pettibone).
Regulations and Responsibilities: Cal OSHA, employer, employee
Engineering/Stability: Stability triangle, turns, blind spots/visibility, tip over
PPE: Seat belts, ROPS, gloves/safety glasses, back up alarm/horn

Worksite evaluation
Operation: Controls, capacity, load center, turning, throttle, brakes
