This class includes a classroom presentation, hands-on training and testing in various types of lifts, power lifts, lift-truck operations and inspection of lift trucks. Participants will learn about the safe operation and use of several types of fork lifts, including motorized pallet jacks, stand-up electric forks, warehouse forks, and off-road telescoping boom forks. Topics covered will include basic operation, load capacities, proper load handling, inspections, and common hazards.
