This is course will train and certify IATSE workers who are seeking to obtain their lift certification for boom lifts, scissorslifts, forklifts and/or telehandlers. Each participant will learn how to inspect and safely operate a boom lift, scissorslift, forklift or telehandler in various situations and under various loads. They will learn how to inspect the machine; safely enter and exit the platform or seat; learn about and operate the levers, buttons, and stabilizers; drive the machine; pick-up, relocate, and place the load safely. They will also learn the load capacity of each machine.
