This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in adults in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course is critical to provide immediate lifesaving care to crew in all crafts regardless of location, time of day or availability of outside emergency resources.
The ARC First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This class combines a 2-hour interactive online video and 1-hour in person Skills Assessment Training session.
