This custom mobile elevated work platform certification class, designed for motion picture crew members, includes a classroom section with presentation, discussion, video and a written test which is followed by pre-operation inspections and 60-minute, individual practical appointments conducted on boom lifts, scissor lifts and a mast lifts. Successful completion of this class will result in a certification to operator MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) machines. Attendees will learn the rules, protocols, and regulations surrounding laws of operating MEWPs. They will also get plenty of hands on experience with various models of MEWPs.
