In this class we will go over the essential skills or “basics” that nearly all crafts need to know. This class is designed to apply to a wide variety of crafts and be useful for both the novice and experienced crewmember. The beginning portion of the day will be a brief classroom section discussing good set etiquette, radio protocol, time sheet pointers, and handy tricks of the trade. Then we’ll move on to various hands-on sections including knot-tying, ratchet straps, truck loading and weight distribution, and basic power tool handling and implementation.
