Heat Shapable Materials in Millinery in New Orleans, LA | Local 478

This class will introduce two heat shapeable materials which can be used for wearable millinery creations. Participants will learn advantages and disadvantages of using heat shapeable materials as well as best practices in creating unique, wearable hats/headpieces. At the end of the course, participants will have valuable skills that can be translated into costuming products for their projects.

  • Millinery skills and techniques using heat shapeable materials
