This course is specifically designed for arena or convention center ground rigging. Instructors will teach the must-knows of ground rigging, as well as many tips and tricks to make the job safe and better for everyone. Participants will be introduced to all aspects of arena ground rigging, including terminology, hazards, safety, equipment and proper equipment handling, written symbols, verbal and non-verbal communication, and how to assemble, tie on and send a variety of points to riggers above.

• Identify common rigging gear and hardware

• Read floor marks and communicate information clearly with the other riggers

• Assemble bridles and tie work ropes into them

• Send bridles and other rigging to high riggers
