This four session virtual course is delivered by a live instructor and reviews standards and practices involved in portable power distribution for the entertainment industry. It covers electrical skills, applicable codes and standards, and system planning as outlined by ETCP and NEC Standards and OSHA General Industry codes for electrical safety in the workplace.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to recognize and address electrical hazards in the workplace, safely setup and operate power distribution systems, and will have firm foundation for success on the ETCP Portable Power Distribution Technician Exam. Current ETCP certified technicians are eligible to receive 16 renewal credits for participation.
