This class is geared to those wanting to begin or further develop their skills a rigging grip. It will involve a great deal of hands-on training following a presentation and discussion on etiquette, procedures, and issues commonly associated with working as a rigging grip.
Knots and line
Frame assembly
Basic truss and pipe skills
Cheeseboros, candlesticks, and other clamps
Moving gear and loading trucks (and unloading)
Car mounts
Pulleys and steel
Condors and safety around them
Setting up a “flyswatter”
