This intermediate level course is for people who want to fine-tune their welding skills and safety practices and may have aspirations to become certified in a specific process. This class is designed for attendees to work on and weld structural and non-structural (decorative) weldments. The class will feature the following:

• Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) MIG

• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) aka Stick welding

• Basic troubleshooting for contaminants, amperage issues, wire speed, gas flow, etc.

• How to properly change out wire on MIG machines
