Bucket trucks, boom trucks, scissor lifts, etc. are all necessary equipment but can be quite dangerous if not operated properly. This two and one half–hour course reviews proper procedures for ensuring a safe lift. Operators are educated in the hazards of using aerial lifts and are taught the steps for avoiding or controlling those hazards. Covers such topics as: vehicle stabilization & traveling; use of outriggers; working near electrical lines; pre-operation inspection; and fall protection.
