This 8-hour course covers the safe utilization of synthetic and wire rope and rigging hardware for use as fasteners and components in mechanical advantage lifting systems. This course is designed to provide technical and practical knowledge for workers who will utilize rigging hardware to safely lift, secure, and control heavy loads overhead. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to understand the dynamics and safe utilization of rated rigging ropes and hardware to enable them to lift and fasten heavy objects at the workplace.
