Intro to Mig Welding is designed to give participants safety, technical information, hands-on experience, and practical application of mig welding in the entertainment industry. This is for those in Construction, Special Effects, Props, Grip, and Electrics who would like to expand or refresh their skills.
This course provides participants with safety information, welding tools, basic technical information, setup and preparation of materials, and hands-on experience. Participants will learn how to setup and prep pieces to be welded, squaring up materials, how to lay a proper bead, control heat to join different gauge metals, fix and fill holes, and finish work.
