This 10-hour course covers topics that are listed in The Backstage Handbook, Stage Rigging Handbook, and Stock Scenery Construction Handbook. It’s an introduction to film construction and the usual expectations of industry employers with some simple flat building and standing. Upon the completion of this class, participants will be able to quickly identify rules, regulations, and safety procedures of construction and the entertainment industry. They will also have the ability to build simple flats and stands safely and confidently.
