In this course we will explore the basic concepts, equipment, and conduct associated with a role in the Lighting or Electric department on a film set. This introductory training course includes detailed discussions of protocol, safety, terminology and equipment demonstrations among other helpful information for working safely on set. Each attendee will need a copy of the Set Lighting Technician’s Handbook - fourth edition by Harry C. Box, The Provincial Electrical Code Book and the ESA- Television, Film, Live Event Electrical Guidelines ESA Spec 003-R7.
