Courses consist of lecture, discussion, written material, manufacturer’s videos, practical training, and evaluation of the operator’s performance. Students will be able to identify hazards associated with the use of aerial lifts and forklifts; identify key characteristics of the equipment; identify stability related concepts; identify items to be checked in a pre-operational safety inspection; identify safe practices; and complete a hands-on training exercise.
