The goal of this full-day class is to provide participants with knowledge of proper selection and promote safe utilization of chain motors, truss, and safe rigging practices. This classroom and hands-on training will include a basic overview of chain motors (selection, usage, and maintenance) and motor controllers.
Local 481 trainers Mike Sheehan and Jay Stone will use seminar and hands-on activities to address the following:
Standard rigging and hardware products
Correct work practices and assembly
Assessing working load limits
Chain motor selection, usage, and maintenance
Deck selection and assembly
