Digital Audio Console in Baltimore, MD | Local 19

Training is designed to advance basic programming skills for real-world application. Advanced topics include effects engines, creating stems, saving scenes, signal routing, navigating advance menus, and more. Each pair of students will be provided with a different large scale digital console and stage rack and then will switch to have each group use all three consoles, each console will have a small speaker set up.

  • Console layout

  • Discuss signal flow

  • Patch inputs and outputs

  • Basic programming (EQs, dynamics, groups, pages)

  • Program components (effects, virtual patchbay routing)

  • Utilize playback (scenes, playing back cues, understanding feedback)

  • Utilize the effects engine
