You’re on set, and you’ve got some LED fixtures, Ethernet cables, some RatPac wireless transceivers, and an iPad running Luminair lighting control, but you’re not sure you know how it all works. Setting up and testing lighting movie and video production used to be pretty simple, and it’s increasingly becoming more digital and networked. If you’re going to have a future in this business, then you need to know how to set up, test, and troubleshoot DMX, Ethernet, Art-Net, and wireless DMX systems, use RDM to quickly and remotely configure and monitor your equipment, as well as program and run the lighting from a console, a computer running lighting control software, or an app running on a table or smart phone. This course covers all of those bases from bottom to top with an emphasis in hands-on activities and learning.
