Basic Stitching for Wardrobe in Jacksonville, FL | Local 115

This course will delve into basic sewing repair skills required on IATSE wardrobe calls. Students will learn about different closures, including snaps, two and four-hold buttons, shank button, Velcro, hook, and eye. The course will also cover when and where to use the proper closure. This will be demonstrated on appropriate wardrobe pieces. Basic stitching to include whip stitch, blind hem, back stitch, and couch stitch.
