This course is designed to familiarize participants with the basics of identifying, hanging, focusing, and circuiting conventional theatrical lighting instruments. The course will combine lectures regarding instrument types and designs with opportunities to handle lighting equipment. At the conclusion, the participant will be able to identify basic equipment and perform basic hang and focus tasks.
