This course will teach aspiring riggers the basic skills needed to safely pull and hang rigging points for a theatrical show or concert. Instruction will include rope knots, rope maintenance while rigging, and working safely. Additional time will be spent on how to build rigging points and deciphering a rigging plot. At the end of the course students should feel comfortable working at heights or on the ground as a rigger.
