Intermediate Spotlight Drafting provides detailed knowledge on creating and using custom lighting symbols. Students will learn to create their own custom symbols, store them in their personal library file, and create template files.

• Learn everything you need to run Vectorworks Spotlight on a feature or television show

• Focus on making light plots using Vectorworks Spotlight for Lighting/Grip & Electric Department

• Import a PDF of the set design

• Add and edit symbols

• Create label legends to show info

• Create viewports to print or email your plots

• Edit an exiting symbol

• Make a custom symbol

• Make a template file

• Make a library file

• Create a custom title block
